Tereza Hradilková (Tschechien)
Tereza Hradilková, Tänzerin, Dozentin und Macherin eigener Projekte sowohl in ihrer tschechischen Heimat als auch auswärts, beendete ihre Ausbildung im Fachbereich Moderner Theatertanz an der Theaterschule in Amsterdam. Gemeinsam mit anderen führt sie in Prag ein Tanzstudio und organisiert diverse Tanzevents. Als Tänzerin arbeitete sie unter anderem mit Claude Brumachon, dem Forman Brothers Theater, Davide Sportelli, Fabrice Ramalingom, der Company Nanohach, VerTe Dance Company oder Andrea Miltner zusammen. Choreografisch kollaboriert sie eng mit
Einat Ganz, mit dem sie bereits mehrere Stücke realisiert hat. Ihre jüngste Arbeit „Deadline“ aus dem Jahr 2012 gewann jüngst den ersten und dritten Preis beim Short Waves Festival in Poznan und dem NU VIDEO DANCE Festival in Bratislava.
Tereza Hradilková finished her education at the Theaterschool in Amsterdam at the Modern Theater Dance department. Currently she is involved in the contemporary dance scene as a maker, dancer and dance teacher in Czech republic and abroad. Together with a collective she runs a dance studio Truhlarna in Prague and is active in organising various dance events. As a dancer she had worked for choreographers such as Claude Brumachon, The Forman Brothers Theater, Davide Sportelli, Fabrice Ramalingom, company Nanohach, VerTe Dance Company or Andrea Miltner as well as taking part in several improvisation venues. As a choreographer she has been closly collaborating with Einat Ganz with whom she has created several pieces and has been busy creating her own work in Czech republic. Her latest work „Deadline“ from year 2012 performed in Tanec Praha festival or dance film „Beating“ on which she collaborated with director Kari Sulc, just freshly 1st and 3rd price at the Short Waves festival in Poznan and NU VIDEO DANCE festival in Bratislava.
Marie Lykkemark (Dänemark)
Marie Lykkemark ist frei schaffende Tanzkünstlerin und lebt derzeit in Berlin. Die gebürtige Dänin absolvierte ihre Tanzausbildung an der IWANSON – International School For Contemporary Dance. Nach ihrem Abschluss arbeitete sie als Tänzerin und Dozentin unter anderem mit Katja Wachter, Rasmus Sørinus Jensen, Johannes Härtl, Stefan Dreher, Alexandra Karabelas und Caroline Finn-Fischer zusammen. Ihre eigene künstlerische Recherche konzentriert sich derzeit auf die Frage, wie (Kontakt)improvisation und somatisches erleben zusammen-hängen und wie die „Theorie einer radikalen Ehrlichkeit“ in eine nonverbale Trainings- oder Aufführungssituation überführt werden kann.
Marie Lykkemark is working as a freelance dance artist/researcher and she is currently based in Berlin. Born in Denmark, she began in the age of twenty her studies at Iwanson contemporary dance school. After her graduation she has been working as a dance teacher and working with Choreographers such as Katja Wachter, Rasmus Sørinus Jensen, Johannes Härtl, Stefan Dreher, Alexandra Karabelas and Caroline Finn-Fischer. Her research at the moment is focusing on somatic work in collaboration with (Contact-improvisation and how to imply the theory of „Radical Honesty“ into a physical non-verbal situation, whether it is in a performative form or in a training space.
Sabina Perry (Kanada)
Sabina Perry, geboren in Toronto, Kanada, ist Tänzerin, Choreographin und Performerin. Sie studierte an der National Ballet School, der School of Toronto Dance und der CODARTS Rotterdamse Dansacademie. Von 2005 bis 2007 war sie Mitglied der De Meekers Uitgesproken Dans Company Rotterdam und ist seitdem international freiberuflich tätig. Seit 2009 lebt sie in Köln und ist Gründungsmitglied des Kölner MichaelDouglas Kollektiv von Douglas Bateman, mit dem sie bereits 2007 an dem preisgekrönten Solo „Wonderland“ arbeitete: einem Theaterkonzept für die Performance Dance Art. Parallel arbeitet sie unter anderem mit Lucas Jervais, Sjoerd Vreugdenhil, Kalpana Raghuraman, Stefan Dreher und Tony Rizzi zusammen. 2010 wurde Sabina Perry für den Green Room Award (Australian National Theater Awards) als beste Tänzerin, den Critics Choice Award als beste Tanzperformerin Australiens sowie für den Australian Dance Award nominiert. Als Choreografin erarbeitete sie Stücke für das Open Dans Festival sowie für De meekers Uitgesproken Dans in Rotterdam.
Sabina Perry was born in Canada, she lives and works as a dancer, choreographer and performer in Cologne, she is a founding member of the MichaelDouglas Kollektiv, currently based in the Atelier Haus “Quartier Am Hafen”.
After her education at the National Ballet School and the Toronto Dance Theater in Canada, she continued to study at the Rotterdam Dance Academy.
She joined “De Meekers Uitgesproken Dans” after her graduation in 2004 and became an independent artist in 2007 first collaborating with Douglas Bateman on the solo “wonderland”: a performance art dance theatre concept.
Since then she has performed for Lucas Jervais, Sjoerd Vreugdenhil and currently performs a solo by Kalpana Raghuraman and collaborates with Stefan Dreher and Tony Rizzi. As a choreographer she has created pieces for Open Dans Festival and De meekers Uitgesproken Dans in Rotterdam.
Michel Yang (USA)
Die Performancekünstlerin und Dozentin Michel Yang absolvierte ihren Master For Arts im Bereich Tanz an der New York University – Tisch School for the Arts.
Seit 2000 lebt sie in Brüssel wo sie bis heute unter anderem in zahlreichen interdisziplinären Kunst- und Performanceprojekten sowie für renommierte Einrichtungen der Performance Arts tätig ist. Sie arbeitete unter anderem mit Lilia Mestre, Stefan Dreher, Pierre Droulers, Mia Lawrence und Walter Verdin zusammen.
Als Dozentin legt sie den Schwerpunkt auf Zeitgenössischen Tanz, Improvisation und Formen von Materialisierung. Sie unterrichtete hierbei unter anderem bei Ultima Vez, dem Königlichen Konservatorium Antwerpen, den Summer Studios, Charleroi Danses, D.A.N.C.E. Apprentices und der Washington University.
Michel completed her MFA Dance at New York University-Tisch School of the Arts. In 2000 she relocated to Brussels where her curiosity carried her to other branches of dance and performance, working in inter-disciplinary projects, improvisation, and performance installations. Michel has worked with Lilia Mestre, Stefan Dreher, Pierre Droulers, Mia Lawrence, and Walter Verdin to name a few.
As a teacher Michel’s subjects are contemporary dance, improvisation, and forms of materialization. A few places where she has taught include Ultima Vez, The Royal Conservatory Antwerpen, Summer Studios, Charleroi Danses, D.A.N.C.E. Apprentices, Washington University… .
Douglas Batemann (Großbritannien):
Douglas Bateman vervollständigte seine Ausbildung am London Studio Center und tanzte anschließend unter anderem für das London City Ballet, das Ballet Braunschweig, das Scapino Ballet Rotterdam und Amanda Millers Compagnie „Pretty Ugly Tanz Köln“. Er unterrichtet heute an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln. 2009 gründete er gemeinsam mit Michael Maurissens das Michael Douglas Kollektiv. Enge Kollaborationen verbinden ihn bis heute zudem mit Prue Lang und Tony Rizzi. Seine erste Kreation gewann beim Internationalen Choreografenwettbewerb in Hannover den zweiten Preis und wurde vom Scapino Ballet Rotterdam ins Repertoire aufgenommen. Gemeinsam mit den Dansateliers schuf er “Wonderland”, das in vielen Städten in Europa und Kanada den Weg auf die Bühne gefunden und zudem bei “dansclick” eingeladen war, einer Plattform für neuen Tanz in Holland.
Douglas Bateman (UK) is a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher he completed his education at the London Studio Center and worked with various companies in Europe, such as the London City Ballet, Ballet Braunschweig, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and Pretty Ugly Tanz Köln. He teaches at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, Köln, is currently performing with Prue Lang and continues to work closely with Tony Rizzi. His first creation “sol’O circles” won the 2nd prize in the International Choreographic Competition in Hannover and was performed by Scapino Ballet Rotterdam. He has created pieces for both the Rotterdam and Köln dance academies. Douglas has been creating with the Dansateliers for the last 4 years his first piece, a dance theatre solo “Wonderland” has been performed in various guises in and out of the traditional theatre setting. “Wonderland” has toured around Europe and Canada and was also invited to the “dansclick” showcase, a platform for new dance in Holland. Douglas founded the MichaelDouglas kollektiv in 2009 with Michael Maurissens.
Adam Ster (Ungarn):
Adam Ster wurde in Budapest geboren und absolvierte seine Tanzausbildung an der Ungarischen Tanzakademie. Heute lebt der Tänzer, Performer und Dozent in Köln. Seit 1995 arbeitete er mit verschiedenen Compagnien in Europa zusammen, unter anderem mit dem Jeune Ballet de France, dem Scapino Ballet Rotterdam und Amanda Miller’s Compagnie „pretty ugly tanz köln“. Er ist Gründungsmitglied des in Köln ansässigen Michael Douglas-Kollektivs (mdkollektiv.de), einer Gruppe von Tanzkünstlern das kontinuierlich die gemeinschaftliche Kreation erforscht und praktiziert und sich für die praktischen und theoretischen Aspekte der Kollaboration in den Darstellenden Künsten engagiert.
Adam Ster graduated from the Hungarian Dance Academy. He is a founding member of the MichaelDouglas Kollektiv. He works as a performer, dance teacher and music producer based in Cologne, Germany. Since 1995 he’s been working/ performing with various dance companies in Europe; such as Jeune Ballet de France, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and Amanda Miller’s pretty ugly tanz köln. In 2008 Adam Ster completed a study for “Electronic Music Production” at the SAE Institute and has been realising sound compositions specifically for dance; for choreographers among others Lucas Jervies/The Merlyn Theatre CUB Malthouse, Melbourne (AUS), Georg Reischl/pretty ugly tanz köln, MichaelDouglas Kollektiv (DE), Douglas Bateman/Dansateliers (NL) and Sandra Marin-Zoran Markovic/Theater Heidelberg.
Yoann Boyer (Belgien):
Yoann Boyer arbeitete nach seiner Ausbildung zum zeitgenössischen Tänzer unter anderem mit Pierre Droulers, William Forsythe, Carolyn Carlson, Thierry De Mey, Joanne Leighton und Christophe Haleb & Julyenn Hamilton zusammen. Seine Faszination für die Arbeitsweise der Improvisation und die Konzentration auf den Moment brachten ihn dazu, parallel bei Eric Blouet eine Ausbildung zum Clown abzuschließen. Neue Wege eröffnete er sich zudem ab 2012, als er sich dem Ausbildungsprogramm Tamalpa von Anna Halprin und der Gestalttherapeutin Daria Halprin in Kalifornien anschloss und zudem „Gewaltfreie Kommunikation“ studierte. Heute lebt und entwickelt er seine eigene Pädagogik sowie seine künstlerische Arbeit ganzheitlich weiter mit einem großen Bewusstsein für die Kunst des Lebens.
Yoann Boyer is a Dancer, improviser and A Life/Art Process® graduated interested in the power of expressive arts as a way to explore who we are as human and what “moves” us. After following a contemporary dance education, he worked as a dancer for Pierre Droulers, William Forsythe, Carolyn Carlson, Thierry De Mey, Joanne Leighton, Christophe Haleb & Julyenn Hamilton with whom he studied the art of improvisation and instant-composition. His fascination for improvisation and working with the present brought him to attend a 9 weeks intensive clown training with Eric Blouet where he explored the power of performing with the moment. In 2012 he attended the training program Tamalpa in California created by the artist Anna Halprin and the gestalt-therapist Daria Halprin. In parallel he studied NonViolent Communication, a practice offering him new ways to look at relationships and groups dynamics & that enriched and influenced him widely both as artist & human-being. Today he is developing his own Pedagogy and artistic work around improvisation and performative play in a life/art awareness.
Martin Talaga (Slowakische Republik)
Martin Talaga stammt aus der Slowakei und lebt derzeit in Prag, wo er an der Akademy of Performing Arts Choreografie studiert. Sein künstlerischer Schwerpunkt liegt wegen seiner künstlerischen Herkunft aus dem traditionellen Tanz und der Musik auf der Frage, wie traditionelle Folklore in Tanz und Musik mit der Zeitgenössischen
Kunst fusioniert werden kann. Nach Kollaborationen mit tschechischen und anderen Choreograf_innen wie unter anderem Radim Vizváry, Saju Hari, Matthew Rogers, Vera Ondrašíková, Miřenka Čechová und Alexandra Karabelas ist Martin persönlich sehr an einer lang andauernden Performance interessiert.“Ich bin immer auf der Suche nach neuen Herausforderungen für meinen Körper – ich bin so ehrlich zu sagen dass ich es kaum erwarten kann, diesen Tanzmarathon zu machen.“
Martin Talaga is from Slovakia, currently living in Prague, where he is studying choreography at Academy of Performing Arts. In his own work he is focusing on fusion of contemporary art with traditional folklore as far from his background is created by folk dances as well as playing traditional folk instruments of Slovakia.
As dancer he collaborated with many Czeck and foreign choreographers like Radim Vizváry, Saju Hari, Matthew Rogers, Vera Ondrašíková, Miřenka Čechová and so on
